There is nothing quite like a renovation in a neighborhood you love. In this case we took a very dated floor plan and completely reimagined the space to create the perfect family home. We chose two unique elements that we wanted to maintain in the design - full bed brick exterior & central fireplace location - so it challenged us to update the exterior to be a modern feel while still maintaining a relationship to the mid century feel of the neighborhood. We also made the bold decision to recapture what was an existing garage and build a beautiful functional kitchen/dining room space. When the outcome becomes so seamless you know you’ve executed the design effectively.
